If you’re looking to take in more local attractions, Highland Park and Eagle Rock proved to be boroughs with endless lists of places to visit. The Mouse Kitchen café set us up each morning with local delicacy breakfast tacos. After an afternoon of vintage shopping, Echo Park provided relaxation with its idyllic lake views and paradise islands of palm trees. For dinner, the Black Cat American Pub provided a cool, moody atmosphere with dimly low lighting, velvety jazz and smooth bourbon cocktails.
